Direct collection and processing of personal data

You provide your email address when you create an account. We use it to identify your account and send account messages such as verification and password-reset emails. You may also provide profile details and a billing address for account management and invoicing.

When you use the service, we process the website URLs you submit, the audit results and history saved to your account, and your monitoring settings. These records let you review reports and follow changes to your websites. When you invite a team member, we process the email address you enter to send and manage that invitation.

We keep cookies to a minimum. There are two groups - necessary cookies that the site needs to work, and optional analytics cookies that run only after you accept them.

Necessary cookies (always on):

__session - keeps you signed in - 5 days
ats-consent - remembers your cookie choice - 180 days
ats-session-hint - remembers that you signed in, so we only check your session when one may exist - 5 days

Optional cookies (set only after you accept analytics):

_ga, _ga_* - Google Analytics, for anonymous usage statistics that help us improve the site - up to 2 years

You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer - decline, and the analytics cookies are switched off.

If you decline, or make no choice at all, no cookie is written and nothing is stored on your device. The Google tag still loads and sends a signal without any identifier in it - no cookie, no advertising ID, no profile - which lets us count visits in aggregate. Google calls this consent mode. Your IP address is processed to deliver that request, as it is for every request to any website.

Advertising cookies (_gcl_*, set by Google) are written only if you accept the separate marketing option, which is off unless you switch it on. Decline it, or withdraw it later, and they are removed.

Service provider, third parties, who may process your direct personal data

Our sharing of your personal data is very limited and a requirement for us to operate AwesomeTechStack. All third parties are listed below. Account E-Mails - E-Mail verification, password reset and other mandatory account status messages - are sent through Firebase Authentication (Google), so your E-Mail address is processed by Google for that purpose. Payments and invoicing are handled by Stripe, so your name, E-Mail address, billing address and payment data are processed by Stripe for that purpose. See their page here - https://stripe.com/privacy

Indirect collection and processing of personal data

Indirectly we will collect your IP address based on the system you use to access our website via our secure web servers logging system. We collect this information for the purposes of detecting and preventing fraud and unauthorized access and maintaining the security of our systems. We will use but not collect/store your geolocation based on your IP address to personalize your experience of using the AwesomeTechStack website.
